The Journal Sentinel's UW notes mention that Mike Taylor was close to missing the entire season but now is traveling with the team to Vegas and is expecting to play next week against San Jose State and that it's possible freshman TE Sherard Cadogan could redshirt.
The reason Cadogran could redshirt is the emergence of TE Rob Korslin, who was one of three walk-ons awarded with a scholarship this week. The other two are backup tackle Ricky Wagner and long snapper Kyle Wojta.
John Clay is getting some Heisman hype but also has a lot of doubters because of his physical conditioning. Clay's aware of the doubters and is motivated to prove them wrong.
Dave Heller at the Journal Sentinel rounds up a lot of the UW-UNLV predictions here and here. It's not a surprise that everyone is picking the Badgers.
Heller has also put together databases for every 100-yard rusher, 100-yard receiver, and 200-yard passer in Wisconsin history. He's going to have to add to them after Saturday night.
Adam Rittenberg predicts a 41-17 UW victory Saturday and also shares his observations from the UW preview show on the Big Ten Network.
